Emu

Australia’s largest bird

In Australia, the emu walks around continuously searching for fresh grass, worms and larvae depending on where it last rained. Normally, it moves calmly, but if there is danger nearby, it easily reaches speeds of up to 50 km/h. It has three toes and is thus not related to the African ostrich.
