Open on weekends in November

We're extending the season and staying open on weekends throughout November! Fill your day with special animal and dinosaur presentations, and experience the beauty of the park in the late autumn. Limpopoland will not be open during this period for safety reasons.

Time for a break?

When you need a break from the autumn adventures, both Abecaféen and Restaurant Flintehuset are ready to welcome you!

Abecaféen offers delicious snacks and both hot and cold beverages from 10:00 to 13:00.

Restaurant Flintehuset serves freshly made food from quality ingredients from 11:30 to 14:30.

Dining in the Orangery for Camp Guests

When you stay overnight in the park, you will have the special opportunity to dine both dinner and breakfast in the cozy Orangery of the Flint House!

For dinner, you can choose between Minced wild boar and venison from our own forests, wrapped in welfare pork bacon - served with oven-baked potatoes and root vegetables, sauce, and an autumn salad or Herring rolls in a creamy dill and mustard sauce, with oven-baked potatoes and root vegetables - accompanied by an autumn salad.

The smallest overnight guests can look forward to Lasagna made with game from our own forests.

For dessert, we offer Bird's nest with vanilla ice cream and compote of summer berries.

In the morning, you can wake up with rumbling stomachs and look forward to a breakfast table full of Morning bread with butter, cheese, jam, honey, and cold cuts - yogurt, coffee, tea, and milk.

Practical information

Arrival

The park is open for camp guests the following Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in weeks 44-48: 31/10-2/11, 7-9/11, 14-16/11, 21-23/11, 28-30/11

You have the option to book accommodation with arrival on Friday or Saturday during these weeks.

Check-in for overnight stays takes place at the entrance gate.

Arrival on Friday between 16:00 and 18:00.
The park will not be open for activities on Friday. You are welcome to stay in the park all day Saturday and enjoy the activities.

Arrival on Saturday between 10:00 and 16:00.
Come and enjoy the activities in the park before you check into your Camp. You are welcome to stay in the park all Sunday and enjoy the activities.

Dining options

As a special feature for the weekend opening, we offer the opportunity to book dining in Restaurant Flintehuset's Orangery. It will be possible to book both dinner and breakfast (however, no later than the Wednesday before arrival). Booking of regular camp food is not available during this period.

  • Dinner: 18:00 - 19:30
  • Breakfast: 9:00 - 10:00

Practical information

During this period, it is possible to book accommodation in:

  • Camp Zov Tigra
  • Camp Wood Buffalo
  • Planteurhusene
  • Gl. Toldbod (Old Customs House) at Bandholm Harbor

It is not possible to walk around the park in the evening, as it will have become dark.
Transportation will therefore be by car. The permitted routes will be clearly marked.

From 20:30 to 8:30 you must be in the camp. Any other time, you are welcome to explore the park.

The park is open for day visitors from 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday and Sunday in weeks 44-48: 1st-2nd, 8th-9th, 15th-16th, 22nd-23rd, and 29th-30th of November.
From Monday to Friday, the park is closed to day visitors.

You can access the park with a day ticket or with a 2025 season, annual, or family pass.

For the weekend opening, all areas except Limpopoland will be open.
Please note that Dyreparken area closes at 15:00.

Giraffes, rhinoceroses, and elephants are more sensitive to cool weather, and may therefore be indoors when you visit the park. The elephants can always be experienced in their stable if they are not out on Elefantsletten.
