Enjoy the tranquility outside the park when you stay overnight in the historic Gartnerbolig (Gardener’s House). The large, beautiful garden and the many cozy rooms provide the perfect setting for an overnight stay for up to 6 people.

4 good things to know about staying overnight in Gartnerboligen

As an extra to your experience, you get access to the Safari Park every day during your stay, provided you book within the park’s season.

If you book outside the season, the price will therefore be 20% lower.

Please note that Gartnerboligen is not located in Knuthenborg Safaripark, but in Maglemer just before the avenue that leads to the park’s main gate. It is therefore not possible to access the park after closing time.

The home has 3 bedrooms with double beds, a living room, a lounge with dining area, a bathroom, a washing machine – and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven and dishwasher. The property also includes a large garden with a fire pit, so you can enjoy your meals outdoors.

The home has two floors and is therefore not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.

Final cleaning is also included in your stay.

Remember to bring bed linen and towels – or rent them from us when you book. Here you can also book meal kits, so you can take care of your meals easily and deliciously.

Yes, final cleaning is included when you book a stay in Gartnerboligen.

However, we kindly ask you to do the following before you leave the apartment:

  • Washes up, dries and puts the dishes away, and empties the dishwasher.
  • Takes out the trash, sorted
  • Empty the fridge
  • If you have rented bed linen, it must be removed and placed in a pile on the floor together with the towels.
  • Remember all your personal belongings
  • The accommodation must be vacated no later than 11:00 a.m.
  • Remember to put the key back in the key box before you leave

Cozy home for a short getaway in truly unique surroundings

As an extra to your experience, you get access to the Safaripark during opening hours every day of your stay, provided you book within the park’s season.

  • Dodekalitten: Just 14 km from the harbor you’ll find one of Denmark’s most impressive stone monuments. Twelve stone pillars, each 7–9 meters high, tower above you while you enjoy the view over the Småland Sea and the spatial music playing through the installation.
  • Frederiksdal Cherry Wine: Tasty cherry wine produced from our own stock of Danish Stevns cherries. Visit the winery to hear more about the individual wines, get a look into the production, and enjoy tastings. Finish the whole trip with a lovely walk through the cherry orchard.
